Change the color of each high-low line in graph

    Hello,

I am implementing some formulae of stock market in excel and trying to get graphs of them.

I am attaching the workbook where I have some problems.

    1. In the workbook attached, I want to draw both graphs (sheets named as II Dimension, III Dimension in attachment) in same sheet one below another for comparative study.
    2. In the graph (II Dimension, III Dimension) I want to change the color of each vertical bar(high-low line) as green, red or grey depending upon the values.
For ex, in the AO column, if say, (n+1)th element has higher value than that of nth element of the same column, it's corresponding high-low line will be green.
    3. The graph ( sheet named as I Dimension) is stock chart with columns high low and close represented by high-low line. Can I add one more column 'open' to it such that this 'open' value will be represented by horizontal small bar on the high low line itself?

Please let me know the solution to these problems.

You can change the column colours by plotting multiple series, one for each colour. The values used for each series would be determined by formula.
Search forum for "Conditional chart" as this has been covered many times.

To combine the 2 charts you can either move both to an empty chart sheet as chart objects.

Or plot as a stacked column chart. Using additional series to pad between real data.

Do you really mean horizontal bar?

I love how we permanently and publicly shame members for making minor mistakes like this.

In fact, we should use a bigger font. That'll teach 'em to think twice next time they have a question...

I did a search for "Conditional chart" and I don't see anything about changing the color of each vertical bar (high-low line).

I'm stuck trying to do the same thing. (I take the the OP never found a solution?)

I love how new members fail to read the forum's rules, then ridicule comments made 11 years ago. Maybe we should use more colors in the intro regarding reading the rules, to make 'em read them twice next time...
