Thread: Custom lines linked chart

Is there a way to link "Autoshape" straight lines to a particular number on the x and y axis of a chart?

I have a Scatter XY chart that I have placed a kite looking shape(diamond like square with corners connected with lines) made up of 6 lines from the autoshape tool. It splits teh chart into differant segments. I what to be able to move this around based on a number in a cell representing a number in the X axis and another cell for the Y axis.

Just in case it does not, I will try to explain the chart. The chart is normal except that inside the chart there is what looks like a kite with teh cross sticks the corners of the kite are currently at the midpoint of each axis. I want to be able to put the corners at a specific value for each axis to where the kite will change shape (become elongagted) base on the value of teh x and y axis in the cells
