Thread: Link title to a cell

Hello,
Is it possible to have a chart title that is linked to a cell in another sheet

Say, =A1

and the chart would then have the contents as the title

OR - Even more clever - can it look down column B which contains a list of dates and have another title which would give the result of =MAX(B1:B10000)

I am using excel 2007, i have a chart on its own tab, and i cannot link my chart title to a cell in another worksheet in the same workbook. When i click on the chart title and move to the formula bar it does not let the referenced cell pull in its value... instead the chart just displays the formula txt. This seems so basic, i can't figure it out. I know in the older excel i'd have chart options where i could define titles.
