I am creating a chart that illistrates 6 catagories over 4 years, and I am
using the cones chart type. Some cones peak and others don't and I can't
figure out what the logic behind peaking and not peaking cones are. Please
explain.

You can avoid this confusion in yourself and in anyone who views your
chart, by using a simple 2D column chart. The cones' behavior made you
forget all about the data, didn't it?
