Stopping chart line where 1 of 2 columns of data in calculation is blank

I have a chart where there are two columns of data used to create a number
in a third column. I have tried to use both #N/A, NA() and "" to stop the
resulting chart line when one of the 2 columns is blank but have had no
    success.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

    Roger
