Thread: Line and Bar on the same graph

Hi all,

I want to set up a chart with a line graph for statistics from 2005 over the top of a bar chart with stats from 2006.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to do this and how?

I will assume your "bar chart" is what Excel calls "column chart" - vertical
bars.
Make a Line chart with the two data series in the normal way
Right click on one data series in the chart; use Chart Type from popup menu;
specify Column chart.
This is an example of a 'combination' chart
