I've just gotten a job that requires extensive Excel work. My boss
loves charts, one of my weak spots. But I'm getting by.
She's shown me some elaborate charts someone else did, and they're
lovely charts. Naturally, she wants me to duplicate them. The colors
used in them seem more pastel than the standard Excel color pallet. I
know you can mix your own colors and substitute them for the default
colors. But I'm lousy at that.
I was wondering: Are there alternative color pallets available as add
ons that I could find. Freeware/shareware would be my first choice,
but does anything exist?

Hi,
These sites may be of interest.
See Ed Ferrero 's Color Palette Tool http://www.edferrero.com/charting.aspx
Or Ross's
