Thread: Line Chart That Includes Upper and Lower Limits

Col 1 = Measurement date
Col 2 = Measurement (pressure, for example)
Col 3 = High limit (never varies)
Col 4 = Low limit (never varies)


The chart/graph in this case would show at a glance how water pressure varies over time and when it goes over (under) a limit. The table has about 50 variables.


Any help getting off the ground would really be appreciated.

After you insert the chart, rightmouse on the Gridlines and select Format Gridlines.
Set Min and Max from Auto to their respective required values.


I guess I should have added -

Select the data to be charted, B1:B50-ish
Insert, Chart, and select your charttype
Next
Series, Catergory (x) label fields, and set to A1:A50-ish
Finish
