    Stacked Bar Chart:displaying percentages

    Hi all,

I am having a problem in displaying percentages in the Stacked 100% bar chart.

What I currently have is a Stacked 100% bar chart and the table with the values. Yes, the bar chart is representing the percentages, but my manager wants it to represent AND display the label as a percentage instead of the $ value.

    Can anybody help me, please?

    Michael

    Hi,

set your input column to Format (number) Percentage
this adds % to the column
In the chart, rightmouse a data item and select Format Data Series, and set Data Labels to =Value.

Let me know how you go

    Explanation

    Hi,

What do you mean by input column?

My datasheet are all in $ value. Do you mean that I should convert them to percentages first?

    Cheers,
    Michael

    Hi,

yes, or, if you need to retain your $ data then run a % column next to the names and Hide the column, this allows you to enjoy both types of data.

To display hidden columns, select the chart, then Tools, Chart and remove any tick for 'visible only'
