Thread: Two Charts in one

Hi guys,


I'm trying to get a graph to display stock prices over the course of a year.
At the same graph I want to display Acquisition announcement.

This is the visual chart that I am trying to create.
- Stock Prices as Areas Chart
- Merger as Scatter Points in front of the Area Chart.
- X-values: Dates
- Y-values: Stock Prices

My data is in 3 columns; Column 1 - Dates, Column 2 - Stock Prices, Column 3 - Merger (value in cell same as Stock Price)

All dates where there is no Acquisition the value in column 3 is 0..

When I try to make the chart, I either get values that don't match up... Acquisition on the 15th of Jan, are on the same spot as i.e 23rd of Jan for the Stock prices..

I'm not sure why this happens...
