OK I realize I am probably going about this in the completely wrong way, but...I have a workbook that I use each year. It has grown considerably and has become pretty difficult to update for the next year. I am just using find/replace to change dates and formulas throughout, but have trouble with the charts. I have several charts which appear on more than one worksheet (the same chart on more than one page) in the workbook. I have to change the worksheets they are pulling data from for each chart for the new year because I am comparing data from the current year against the previous year. I want to only have to update each chart one time. Is there a way to link them to one set of charts so I only have to do this one time for each chart, or better yet is there a much better way to set this up so I don't have to waste so much time?
I hope this made some sense. Thanks for any help.
When you say "I have several charts which appear on more than one worksheet (the same chart on more than one page) in the workbook", can't you just change the data table these are linked to, then all the charts will change?
