Red face Locking graph to worksheet??

    Hi.

I am using Excel in the Vista Business edition.

I would like to know how I can lock my graphs to the worksheet so that they can't accidentally be deleted, moved, re-sized, etc.

If you know how to do it in the old version, pls let me know and I can try to figure it out in Vista.

    Thank you in advance,

    Michelle

    Unhappy

Very sorry, did not mean to post 4 times! If the administrator could delete the prior 3 that would be great?

    Lock Chart

    Hi

If you create a chart it is by default 'locked' and you can see this by right clicking the chart and selecting format object.

You should see that the "locked" option is checked.

If you then apply protection to the sheet your chart will remain as you placed it and cannot be changed.

    Regards

    Jeff

By the way make sure that when protecting the sheet that you have "objects" checked
