    Semi logarithm chart

    in order to create Semi logarithmic chart,
    I created X,Y (scatter) chart.
    I double clicked the X axis.
    in the second tab ("scale") I checked the first checkbox "logarithmic scale"

    the problem is that the y axis is located at x=1 (aee attach file)
    can anybody help me?

    In the exact same dialog is an option for "value (Y) axis crosses at". Excel's "automatic" choice is 1, but you can set that to whatever you want. Just recognize that values <=0 have no meaning on a logarithmic axis, so you can't enter 0 or a negative number.
