Hi everyone
I have a question anout the source data in a standard line chart.
I have a series of data showing revenue by day of the week over a 4 year period, each day has a range using offset to show twelvemonths data.
As having all seven days plus the weekly average is a bit overwhelming I am trying to have the range user selectable when preparing the chart, so that the user may choose which days to select.
Unfortunately whatever formula I have tried excel does not want to accept it and I would like to know if it is possible, or if there is any way around it.
Thanks a lot
Jeff
May I suggest you take a look at
Jon Peltier website. You may find some tips there like

Hi again
Realised what I had been doing wrong, the change needed to be in the offset formula itself and not in the creating of the chart.
Regards
Jeff
