    Defining months to X-axis

I have date as x-axis and price as y-axis and I need to make x-axis format so that it shows first of every month. I think I need to set some kind of variable as "Major unit" which defines days of each months. How can I do that?

    Hi,

if you Rightmouse the axis labels shown, you can then select 'Format Axis' and select the format required.

I know I can edit the axis with that wizard but I can't get first of every month as major scale. If I define major scale to 30 days it will work fine for first few months but the problem is that months has different number of days each so I'd need to define some kind of variable that tells how many days each month has. Do I need to do some basic programming or is there some built in ways to do that with the wizards?

If your chart differs from the attached then you might need to attach a sample to better explain what you are trying to achieve.

Thanks for that example! I actually had some problems with data range I suppose because 'time-scale' selection was grayed out. I created a new graph with correct data range and now it works well.

Good to see that you have resolved your problem, and thanks for the feedback.
