I am fairly novice at charting in excel and was wondering how to create a regular (not pivot) chart using a pivot table that contains data constructed from a multi dimensional database (the raw data is not readily accessible or does not come in a particularly "pretty" format). The only way to access the data is to double click on results and drill thru.
The purpose of these dashboard charts is to display trends etc. on a monthly basis, as well as to examine particular specifics. this means the charts must be able to change along with user-selected options in the pivot table itself.
Any help would be appreciated.
