    Help with calculating a chart

    I need help with finding exact values within a chart. any help would be appreciated.

    You have something close to a linear relationship here which can be expressed as.

    Code:
    =(0.0228515625)*A2+25.471875
    where the sales figures are in column A.

    Sorry for posting in the incorrect forum. Here is the workbook for help.
    I did get one way to work, its just not as accurate. i provided it also in the workbook. thanks

    Excel will calculate the slope (using the SLOPE function) and the y intercept for you (using the INTERCEPT Function) and then you can use the formula y = slope * x + intercept. See the attached worksheet. Is this what you are looking for?
