Number Line Chart

I am trying to creat a number line chart in Excel using 7 numbers. The chart need to be able to plot changing information. I am trying to place a low number, a current number, a range within a high and low, an average and a high.

I have attached a picture of the kind of chart I am trying to produce.

You can use a xy-scatter to create that chart.

Is it possible to make the axis adjust accoring to the numbers? When 50 is typed in instead of 62 the number goes off the grid. I understand how to change the minimum x axis value, but how can I get it to be dynamic? Is it possible for the minimum to be =g19-20 ?

Setting the axis would require VBA code.
