What is this series1, sires 2....etc in charting

when i try to create a chart with datas from 3 columns,

1)the ledgen in the chart shows series 1 and series 2 - what is this ?


2)out of the 3 columns selected one is the date which is on the x axis,the other two columns are plotted, but the label appears only for one of them, is it possible to have two diffrent labels on either y axis

Series 1, Series 2 etc are the default names given to a series.
You can provide you own names either from cells or by directly changing the series formula.

Can you post the workbook and chart you have created.
Which range was selected when you created the chart?

Explaination for sires 1,sires 2 etc

I am attaching the excel sheet where I have the char at the end of the excel sheet. Thanks for the trouble.

I have linked the series name to cells I3 and J3
Also added a duplicate series based on column I that has been moved to the secondary axis.
