Thread: Scatter plot labelling

I'd like to create a scatter plot that compares two values, but also associates a date with each point on the plot.
The spreadsheet data is arranged in three columns, A (date period e.g. week 41), B(volume in KT) and C(value in $/KG). After plotting B(on X) and C(on Y) together, I would like to arrange the values by date, or alternatively use the data in column A to label the associated points.
Any help would be appreciated! Simple instructions please...I'm an arts major.
