Thread: Timeline on a chart

Hi,
I am trying to make a timeline using a excel chart, in the form of a stacked bar chart, to show the progress of stock movement. I have tried various ways of doing this including a gantt chart but I have had no luck. Can anyone help?

The date I have looks similar to this:
