Dear nice people, I have 2 data sets which i want to plot them in one chart using scatter plot. I have tried to add new series but it plots a new one and discard the old one. Below is an example of the data although not realistic but just to give an idea hw it looks like:
x1 y1 x2 y2
1 3 8 1
2 5 3 2
3 7 4 6

Assuming your data is in range A1:D4 you can do either,
Select range A2:B4 and create xy-scatter for first series.
Chart Tools > Design > Select Data > Add > fill dialog with C2:C4 and D2:D4
or Select range A2:B4 and create xy-scatter for first series.
Copy range C2:D4
select chart and use Paste > Paste Special
New Series with X values in first column.
