bar charts

Dear Sir/ Madam
I have excel 2007. I cannot find how to create a bar chart of the next table (presenting average and stdev errorbars)- i dont want to display all data in tables, but only mean and stdev. can you help me pls?

A B C D
5 7 6 11
5 7 5 8
5.4 9 6.1 7.5
AVERAGE 5.13 7.67 5.70 8.83
STDEV 0.23 1.15 0.61 1.89

Orit, you mean perhaps along the lines of the attached ? (2007 format)

Created by highlighting the table, insert tab -> Bar -> right clicking on the Chart -> Select Data -> Switch Row/Column -> removing the Series' with exceptions of Avg & Mean -> clicking OK

Incidentally I have moved this thread to the Charting forum.

(the other approach pending layout requirements would be when first creating the chart to set data source to be: =Sheet1!$A$1:$E$1,Sheet1!$A$5:$E$6)
