plotting a line graph on a bar graph

Hi,
On the attached graph I am trying to plot three bar graphs with two line graphs on top of them. However, there must be a ratio of line to bar graphs or something that you must have because when I try to add another bar it automatically adds a line. How do I add three bars and two lines to this graph?

Re: plotting a line graph on a bar graph

When you have a combination chart any new series will take on the type of the last series, in this case a line.

You can change the new series to a column by selecting it and then changing it's chart type.
