Thread: Run code based on clicking point on XY chart

Hello all,

I have an XY scatterplot. What I'd like to be able to do is allow the end-user to click on one of the points on the chart and have several things happen (for example, that point changes color and information about the point shows up on the spreadsheet to the side of the chart).

I have a sense that this might be fairly straight-forward, but my attempts to either figure out myself or modify what I'm seeing on other threads have gotten me nowhere.

Note: my VBA expertise is at the novice level.
