Thread: Data selection of a pasted chart in a new workbook

After pasting a chart from workbook A into workbook B and right-clicking on it to select new data, I am taken back to the workbook A and cannot select new data from the new workbook. Is it possible to select data for a chart from a different workbook?

The original workbook must be closed before editing the data for the pasted chart
