How to combine two graphs

Hey,
I am new here. I have got a dilemma here. There is a set of data which show a rise in y value as x value increases. However, from the red line onwards, an experiment change causes a decrease in y value as x value increases.

The question I've got now is how do I show something like this on Excel 2007.

You could use a custom error bar
You could use a second series

The main problem is identifying the turning point. This can probably be done by comparing each data point with it's adjacent points.

If you need more help post an actual workbook with example data.
