link 300 series names to x,y values automatically

Hi all,

I have a plot of a 15-series table with X and Y values that I want to extend to 300 series.

However the series are typed in by hand in the chart data source, linking the name of each individual serie with its X and Y value.

Extending to 300 series by hand is a lot of work, does anyone know how to do it by selecting the data sources and that each plot-point has its own serie name?

Try this free addin

This will allow you to link data points to cells. If you want to handle additional data points you either need to use the addin again or extend your data series and then use the addin. Reset the series back to know data. You should find the chart remembers the links as new data is added.
