x y scatter plot with "bins"

In a scatter plot, I want to replace the x-axis bin numbers with non-numerical labels. It's a scatter plot, but I want to replace the bin number values (column "B") with names (column "A"). Any ideas? Do I have to do this in VBA like http://www.excelforum.com/excel-char...ml#post2198742 ?
    Thank you,

Create a column chart on the extra Bin and dummy values range, P3:Q9.

    Copy the range B1:N20
Select chart and Use the Paste Special to add a new series.

    Change new series to xy-scatter

Thanks Andy, I really appreciate this. Did you create this template, or just modify copy and modify my graph? I'm having trouble recreating your graph without just copying it. Regardless, thanks.
