    Removing empty categories from Pie chart

    Hi

    simple question i think - I'm trying to get rid of all the categories with '0' value in a pie chart ( I dont want the category name to appear).

    any idea how this can be done?

    thanks

    Re: Removing empty categories from Pie chart

    Hi Pasha,

    quoting Jon Peltier
    In an area or pie chart, the best approach is to use the null string “”, in conjunction with a number format that suppresses the display of zero values.
    You can suppress the zero value with the custom format

    0;;;

    Avoid pie charts with more than two data points. Why? See here (pdf, 559 kb). The only acceptable pie chart is here.
