Data is in days and bar chart doesnt stack

I have a whole list of values (investment amounts) that are on specific days of the month and have created a bar chart. I have then changed the x axis to be months so that I can see the total investment in each month with a stack showing each individual investment. The stacked graph doesnt stack though, it is plotting all the values on top of each other. Is there anyway that I can have these stacking on top of each other rather than being located on top of each other?

    Thanks in advance,

    Alex

Sample data is attached, obviously the actual data has a LOT more data. I am trying to get them to stack on top of each other rather than being on each other.

The chart will not summarise your data. You need to do that with formula or pivottable.
