Hi,
I have a column of scores in Excel. I need to construct a histogram where in the x axis the scores are split into groups with 3 points between each (If the min score is 300 and the max is 330, it goes like 300-303, 303-306 and so on) and in the y axis the number of people whose score is in between these numbers.
I have no idea about how to choose my data sets, and how to construct this graph. I'm not a novice about Excel, however, I have always constructed my graphs when I had made a table with all the information and all I had to do was to select the table and clicked Graph. If I have to do this graph in the same way, please help me with the formula.
Merhaba,
if you install the Analysis Tookpack, you can do histograms with some degree of automation. You can define the bins, select the data, and Excel does the rest for you. Read it up in the Help files.
Or, post a file with some sample data and I'll check it in a few hours when I'm back at a XL03 machine.
cheers
Or possibly use a Pivot Chart with Scores set as ROW Field and DATA Field (set to COUNT), you can then Group the ROW Field and set the Interval of 3.
