I'm trying create a cluster column chart but have each column in the cluster a stacked column, so essentially I have two sets of series. The series want to make up the stacked column and then I want to be able to have the two sets show up as cluster columns across a range of nominal topics (in this case it is town budgets for a number of towns with two different assumptions of state funding, so the stacked columns show the balance of funding between the state, town and feds, and the the cluster columns show two different budgetary scenarios under consideration).
Don't know if this is something I can implement as a custom user defined chart style or . . .
Thanks for any hints.

thanks. that's clever. of course, set up enough series to cover all your indecies and then 0 some in every other category and voila.
So, my next question is on chart formatting. Is there a leading or spacing function in the formatting so I can get the Axis titles to move a little bit along the axis which will make it clearer which bars they are associated with.
I find an alignment which allos me to change their angle to the axis. I tried chosing subscript in the font function hoping that would physically drop the type a little bit, but no dice. The type didn't move, although it got smaller.
any ideas?
