Hi All,
I have 2 columns in Excel ie Downtime start time & downtime end time, from which i am trying to find the exact downtime for my incidents.
Is there a way i can do a subtraction of 2 date/ time
Outage start 1/10/11 14:00
Outage end time - 1/20/11 4:00
I am an incident manager and i need how to calculate this so that i can capture exact downtime.
Thanks in advance

Note that the format of: dd hh:mm will hold up to max of 31 23:59
If (shudder) you have any outage that may exceed that limit then you might consider using a cumulative hour format instead, ie: [h]:mm:ss
