Hi,
I have our schedule for work in an excel file that I have recently made some updates to. It is now in a Gnatt-style chart to show employees starting and ending times as a stacked bar graph. What I would like to do now is show at the bottom of each chart how many people are simultaneously working each hour.
The schedule has a starting time and an ending time, along with duration in hours and in decimal format. The starting time and the decimal format of duration are the values that are used in the chart to make the lines for each shift.
As for the next step, I am lost as where to start, any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dan
To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.
If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.
Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
Here is my workbook. No sensitive data supplied, so not too worried about that. The 1st sheet is where the schedule is input. The 2nd takes the data from the 1st to show a printable version. The 3-9th sheets are the charts.
Thanks,
Dan
