Thread: cut off large x-axis range with dashes ??

my data sometime jumps from 200% to 900% (pls see attached "current graph") and it skews everything. so I tweak it and manually put a text box over the axis label and manually change it each time.

is there a way to put the dashes into the graph like this one (pls see attached "wanted graph") for horizontal axis with the right labels??
