In a data table for a chart, is it possible to hide one of the data sources so it doesn't show when created but still be included in the actual chart?
Formatting of the chart datatable is very limited. It will, with enough space, display every series in the chart and unlike the legend you can not remove individual series.
Create the table yourself using cells. If the chart is on it's own sheet a linked picture can be used.
