Force fixed chart line colors across charts

Is there a way to force all the charts I create across worksheets and files to use the same set of colors?

For example, when the value = "apples", use green, when the value = "grapes", use red, etc. I only have 5 - 7 values of interest. However, when all of them do not show up in a data set, then the default color scheme results in "grapes" no longer being red.

I'm basically creating time-line graphs using Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts.

I know how to manually go in after the charts are created and force my desired colors one-by-one, but that is tedious and time consuming across lots of graphs.

    Any suggestions?
