    mark charts in excel

    Hi,

Is there a way to mark charts in excell?

    For exaple

    Date version

    11/15/2010 5
    10/13/2010 5
    9/16/2010 5
    8/13/2010 6
    7/14/2010 7
    6/14/2010 8
    5/15/2010 7

So basically everytime version # changes, I want a dot on the chart showing version #, if the version # doesnt change no dots

    Thx
    Omer

    Hello,

can you post a bit more context, like an Excel file that contains the chart?

    cheers,

You could try a formula such as =IF(B2<>B1,B2,"") pasted into C2 and copied down. This will give you the number in column B if it is different than the one above. Use column C in your chart.
