When I pasted my charts from Excel to Word, the fonts changed. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

When I tried to apply a style into the chart, the "Style" item in the MS Word format menu was disabled.

I'm using Office 2008 on my Mac. I'm posting a separate thread at the best forum, to gain insight on the best upgrade path: Windows version on Mac Parallels, or latest Mac version. Any ideas here will also be appreciated.
