numerology chart2

using same info from chart1
i want to create a spreadsheet for calculating numerology numbers.
i used to be able to do this quite easily in the old LOTUS 123
but now cannot figure out how to do in excel

would enter letters of name each in its own cell
then relate each letter to a number......

want to determine vowels in name
then would want to relate the corresponding numbers

ie. a= 1, e=5, i=9, o=6, u=3 and y= 7

want to determine consonants in name
then would want to relate the corresponding numbers
