Question Dynamically increase # of table rows based off another table

    Hello,

I have 2 tables on separate sheets linked by a Relationship using a primary key "TradeNum".

QUESTION: Is there a way to dynamically populate "TradeNum in Table2 (thereby dynamically increasing the number of rows) should somebody enter a new TradeNum (row) in Table1?

    Excel spreadsheet attached: Dynamically_populate_table.xlsx
    Thank-you Michelle

Sorry it is confusing me, could you figure out which cell is manualy input or formula input, and what are your expected results?

Sure no problems: iWhen I input the number "7" in Sheet1 A8 I want a new row to be created in Table2 (of Sheet2) with "7" automatically put into Sheet2 A8

In case anyone else is looking to do this - I've coded a solution in the attached 2013 Excel file. I've tried to keep my code as well described as possible. It's not beautiful but I haven't been able to find any bugs.

    Table1 maintains rows in Table2.xlsm
