    Displaying dynamic photo and graph with slider

    Hi guys.

    I've created a sheet with a slider. Whenever user selects a value, I want to be able to update picture and a graph accordingly to whatever he selected on slider (see document attached), and values in Data tab that corresponds to selected value.
    In the Name Manager I've created Slider value, which corresponds to selected value on vertical slider, Photo which correspond to photo I want to use and GraphDisp with the value I want to display on graph.

    I have a tab called Photo, where I store 2 photos, and I have a tab called Data, where I have indexes of photos to display (1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,2) and data (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10). Whenever user selects a new value, I want to have an Offset from A1 and B1, and display photo with index from column A, and data from column B. So if user select value 4, I want to display photo with index 1 and value 4 on graph. If he selects 5, I want photo with index 2, and value 5 etc.

    The problem is that whenever I move slider values with arrows, photo updates depending if I'm clicking Up, or Down. It supposed to change between 4 and 5, but it changes between 3 and 4 or between 5 and 6.

    This is happening because data are also updating on the graph, if I delete the graph it works fine again. If I go from 4 to 5, graph updates, but photo doesn't, then when I click F9 (Calculate now), the photo updates correctly.

    How can I fix it, if I want to display graph too? I was trying Calculating options, but either graph doesn't update anymore, or it doesn't change anything.

    PS. This was working correctly on Office 2010, you have to have 2013 to see the issue

    Hi

    Your solution works the same as mine...
    If you go from 0-9, photo is changing 5->6
    and if 9-0 it's changing 4->3.

    I bet you test it before sending, so is there something you've selected on your excel that I don't have selected on mine?

    I have tested & its work perfectly. from 0 to 4 first photo & 5 to 9 second photo.
    Even if reverce 9 to 5 second photo and 4 to 0 first.
    If you need changes in number kindly go to sheet "photo and change accordingly.

    I am using 2007. And we try n number of but result is ok at our end. Result as per photo sheet. Refer "A1:A4" First Photo & "A5:A10" second photo. As per your gif i have check but photo shows as per number only. 0-9 / 9-0/ 2-8/ 8-2/ 3-8/8-3 with all respect i have check but its ok.

    Thank you for your time
    I didn't change anything in the document you've sent. I just opened it and run.

    There are 2 things that maybe are different from your use than mine:
    1. I was using arrows on slider to go through the images. If I change the number that slider is linked to, pictures are changing correctly. The thing is, that I have to use slider to change images.
    2. I am using Excel 2013, and it is an Excel bug...

    Can you please test again by using slider arrows?

    I need some help with this.

    Hellow,
    I changed numbering in "format control" as well as photo sheet.
    Earlier in "format control" min value is 0 & in photo sheet min value is 1. Now both match 0 to 10.

    Hi

    Unfortunately, it didn't change anything.

    I found that workaround is to use additional Active X slider.
    If I have only one slider (doesn't matter which one), and I click on slider arrows 1 to 9, picture is changing when clicking 5->6 (too late)
    However, when I've added Active X slider linked to the same cell as normal slider, after clicking on Active X slider, the other slider updates and the picture changes 4->5 (correct!)

    When I delete one of the sliders, problem occurs again...

    For now I will just put one slider below another, and use it as a workaround.

    I still don't know why the problem occurs in Office 2013, I guess it has to be a bug with picture update

    I tried all of ways. Nothing incorrect in 2007. It may be due some tech difference between 2007 & 2013 version.
