    Count unique values with multiple criteria

    HELLO,

    I require a formula that will give count of unique values with multiple Criteria,

    File attached.

    Sheet 1:
    - Column A = Membership Numbers
    - Column B = Age

    Sheet = 'Age Band'

    formula that returns Count of Unique 'Membership Numbers' as per the age band set in Sheet 'Age Band'.

    The quickest method might be to use a pivot table with a helper column...

    I used the group method...

    0 - 9 YEARS ---- should be - 27
    10 - 19 YEARS ---- should be 11

    Hi Jeff, Pivot Table will not work as there are other columns in the actual table that pull values from other sheets.
