URGENT - Converting timecodes from milliseconds to frames

    Hi everyone,

I'm desperately trying to convert a list of 500+ video timecodes from milliseconds (hh:mm:ss.mmm) to frames (hh:mm:ss:ff) -- video rate: 25 fps.

I found a couple of apparently functions there:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/excel/comme...nds_to_frames/

However, the numbers produced by these functions are displayed weirdly -- for example, 0.042074537 instead of 01:00:38:24.

Is this just a formatting issue?? When I try using "00\:00\:00\:00" as a custom cell formatting style, nothing happens...

If anyone has advice, please help.

    Best regards,
    Dorian

    Format the cell as Time.

    Frames number 1 to 25 or 0 to 24?

Thanks all for your quick replies!

In the end, I discovered a workaround to Excel: I imported my time codes as subtitles into the freeware Subtitle Edit, which has a wonderful built-in functionality to transform timecodes from one format to the other...

But I also checked mehmetcik's formula, and it works too!
Many kudos to you man. Your tip will certainly come in handy to me in the future.

    Cheers,
    D-

    Hi Mehmetcik,

What changes would I need to make to this formula if I'm working with 29.97 drop frame?
