Look up with a difference

    Hi can someone please help

In colum a I have a set of questions and in colum B the answers can be either Least, Most or 0.

In colum D & E depending on the answer to colum B is the correct result.

I would like to have a look up that will check colum b and match up the right reponse in D & E.

    can anyone help?

Unless Im missing something, you have nothing in D and E?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Still doesn't make much sense to me. What do you want to appear in columns D and E? How does this relate to what is in column B?

I don't see any logical connection or rule between those letters (and asterisks) and the entries in column B. Can you explain how they have been derived and what they represent?

Re: Look up with a difference

If b2 = Least need look up in e2 to see what the corresponding letter is or the astrex is and the give answers in c2

if B2 = Most same as above

if b2 was 0 just leaves c2 blank.

I need this for each answer in colum b....

the answer in D & E have logive around them and the asterx mean something but thats the pulling together of the info which I know how to do

    thanks

I still don't understand. I'll ask other contributors if they can make any sense of it.
