Adding a values from column B which have same values on column A

Good morning to all.
I have a problem that I am not able to solve it by myself.
I'm adding an excel file to illustrate better what I need.

Before bothering you I tried to use DSUM and SUMIFS with little or no success.

A little background.
I work in a Health center and we have 7 doctors that do different kind of consultation. per day each one give like 5 consultations.

in the end of the day I have a column in excel with like 30 lines like this

Column A Column B

Adrian $100
Avery $150
Avery $200
Adrian $75
Adrian $100
Madeleine $300
John $100

What I would need is a way that I could get the sums per day for each Doctor. With this I would be able, easily to calculate the SUM of the money made for each one.
