Use formula perhaps
=CHAR(191)
Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
Say thanks, Click *
Thanks! How do I do the same for DELTA?
Try
=CHAR(240)
or with Wingdings 3 font
=CHAR(112)
or
=CHAR(114)
no luck
see attached
DELTA_symbol_from_keyboard_only_search.xlsx
Δ =CHAR(114)
Choose Fonts: Wingdings3
need to change the font too
See attached
ok thanks ACE!
Hi James C
No need to change the font. Insert symbol: Character code: 2206 > Unicode (hex).
Regards Kevin
Merged Cells (They are the work of the devil!!!)
that gets me character ₧ not a 'delta' symbol
Who are you referring to!
Rfu
jim
RFU is a picture!
Same as the one below, as I said "Character code: 2206 > Unicode (hex)"
Insert Symbol.PNG
Thanks,
I know how to find that using the mouse, but as power users, we dont want to leave the keyboard. How can we do that?
Thanks,
J
