Looking up by range of dates, returning sorted data

Hi all, my first post here, hope someone can help me.

I have names of suppliers in column A, names of clients in column B, and dates of which the contracts are coming to end/expiring in column C. There are also other columns in this data but for they won't be needed for what I am about to do.

A B C
Supplier A Client A 1 May 2013
Supplier B Client B 1 April 2014
Supplier C Client C 1 Sept 2013

In another worksheet I need to sort the data (just need to return names of suppliers and clients - from column A and B), for which the contracts are expiring, separated by months. This however depends on today's date, up to two months. So if open the document on 27 March 2013 then I would like the data returned to be from the months of April (1 April 2013 - 30 April 2013) and May (1 May 2013 - 31 May 2013).

Is this possible? Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum

i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Re: Looking up by range of dates, returning sorted data

Hi I have now updated the OP with a sample excel file.

In "Data" sheet I have data under Suppliers, Clients, Contract begin date, and Contract expiry date.
In "Summary" sheet I want the names of suppliers and clients to appear for deals that are expiring in the immediate next two months (For example if I open the document on 27 March, then I want the deals that are expiring in the months of April and May. I believe the function "today" has to be used for this..)

Cheers and thanks in advance.
