    prescription pad

    Hi there,
I am a medical doctor trying to print prescriptions on my own pads.
I have created the rows in excel , the first is the name of the drug, the second is the dosage and the last is how the drug should be taken.

I created a dropdown list on another spreadsheet which contains the names of the drugs. I have also created another empty dropdown list where i want to display the dosage and how the drug should be taken.

What i am trying to achiev is when i select the drug form the first dropdown list, i want the other values to appear in the second drop down list.

To make things easier, I have created the database as follows. for example in A1 i entered the name of the drug, in B1 the dosage of the drug i A1 and in C1 is how the drug should be taken.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you post an example workbook of what you want to do?

I can tell that column D = drug, column E = dosage, what column has "how the drug should be taken"

    Hi

I don't really know what you are trying to do here.

But I have created three formulae that are easy to modify for you.

Please feel free to modify them as you need.

I believe this does what you asked for.Drugs-1 1 (version 2).xlsx

I had to shorten the database listing to load the file.
